VYRO Cam records once and gives you two videos: one landscape and one vertical. To do that it needs your camera and microphone, but it doesn't need to know who you are, so it doesn't ask.
The short version
We have no accounts, no servers, and we don't collect information about you. Your videos, photos and scripts stay on your phone.
The only thing that leaves your device is the subscription payment, and Apple handles it. We never see it.

The camera
The camera is the app: we use it to show you the picture and to record your videos and photos. It only runs while VYRO Cam is open on screen; when you leave the app, the camera turns off.
What you record is processed on your phone. It isn't sent anywhere.
The microphone
It records the sound of your videos. It also feeds the on-screen audio meter, which shows how loud your voice is coming in; that level is worked out on the phone and isn't stored.
If you deny the permission, you can still record, but your videos will have no sound.
Your photo library
When a take ends, VYRO Cam saves the videos or photos to your photo library. For that it asks permission to add to your library, not to see it: the app can't read, open or delete your photos.
The motion sensor
When you turn on the grid, the horizon level uses the phone's motion sensors to tell whether it is straight. The reading is used on the spot and isn't stored. It needs no permission and switches off when you turn the grid off.
What is stored on your phone
- Your settings: resolution, frame rate, output format, language, theme and grid.
- The teleprompter script, with its speed, size and position, so you don't have to paste it every time.
- Whether you've already seen the welcome screens and the release notes.
- Temporary copies of your latest recordings, so you can share them from the result screen. iOS clears them on its own.
None of this leaves your device. If you uninstall the app, it goes with it. Videos already in your photo library stay there: they're yours.
Sharing
If you tap Share, the system share sheet opens and you choose which app to send the file to. From then on, that app's policy applies, not ours.
The subscription
Payments are processed by Apple's App Store. Apple handles your payment method; we never see it. The app only asks Apple whether your subscription is active, to know which features to unlock.
To cancel, use your Apple account (Settings > your name > Subscriptions), not the app.
Third parties
The only one is Apple, to charge the subscription.
We don't use analytics, advertising, social networks or tracking services, and there are no advertising identifiers. The fonts ship inside the app and are not downloaded from the internet.
Children
VYRO Cam is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone. Since we don't ask for personal data, there is nothing to delete if a child uses it.
Your rights
Since we keep no information about you outside your phone, there is no account to close and no file to request. To delete everything the app stored, uninstall it.
The rights given to you by Colombian law (Law 1581 of 2012) and by the law of your country still apply. If you want to exercise them or have a question, write to us.
Changes
If this changes, the date on this page is updated. We don't notify by email because we don't have your email.
