Applies to the VYRO Prompt app for iPhone, Android and Mac.
VYRO Prompt is a teleprompter for content creators: you write or paste your script, read it while you record, and the text moves at your pace or follows your voice. Your scripts and your videos stay on your device. The only things that leave it are what you choose to send —the topic of a script when you ask AI to write it— and the purchase information the stores need to charge for VYRO Prompt Pro. This document explains plainly what data the app handles, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and what rights you have.
The essentials in five lines
Your scripts and videos are not uploaded to any Superbites Studios server. There are no ads, no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking. The camera and microphone are only used while you record or while the text follows your voice. If you use "Write with AI", what you type is sent to an AI provider, only after you accept it, and we don't keep it. The connection between your devices ("Studio") happens inside your own network and never goes through the internet. Only if you use "Write with AI" do you sign in with Apple or Google, so your monthly scripts and credits follow you on all your devices.

Every request, question or complaint about personal data should go to that email. It is the official channel for these purposes.
2. Scope and acceptance
This policy applies to VYRO Prompt as distributed through Apple's App Store (iPhone and Mac) and Google Play, in all versions and all countries where it is available. It does not apply to operating systems, app stores or third-party services, which have their own policies; section 7 lists which ones are involved and what they handle.
By downloading, installing or using VYRO Prompt you confirm that you have read this policy. The permissions the law or the operating system requires —camera, microphone, speech recognition, saving to Photos and local network— are requested separately, through the system's own dialogs, before they are used.
3. How VYRO Prompt works
VYRO Prompt is a local app. Your scripts are stored in the app's private storage on your device. When you record, the camera and microphone are handled by the operating system and the video is saved to your gallery.
Some features are optional and are explained in detail below:
- Follow your voice: the text moves when you speak, using the operating system's speech recognition (section 5.3).
- Write with AI: creates a script from a topic you type. It is the only feature that sends your text off the device (section 6).
- Studio: a Mac or another phone on your network runs this phone's recording (section 5.5).
- Notch mode on the Mac: shows the script next to the Mac's camera, hidden when you share your screen. It sends nothing.
- Remote control: headphones or the volume keys start and stop the reading. It all happens on the device.
4. Data handled
Everything described below is stored only on your device:
- Your scripts. Title, text, language, and creation and edit dates.
- Your videos. Saved to the system gallery (Photos on iPhone, the "VYRO Prompt" folder in Movies on Android). The app keeps a temporary copy in its private folder so you can watch or share the take, and deletes it when you leave the recording screen. If the gallery refused to save it, the copy is kept so you don't lose the take.
- Preferences. Your name if you type it (only to greet you), reading speed and size, mirror mode, countdown, whether the text follows your voice, whether remote control is on, and the notch mode on the Mac.
- Your AI choice. Whether you agreed to send your text to the AI service.
- Your session, if you sign in. For "Write with AI" you sign in with Apple or Google. The device's secure keychain keeps the session our server issues and, if Apple or Google shared it, your email, only to show which account you used. Your email is not sent to Superbites Studios.
- VYRO Prompt Pro status. Whether Pro is active.
VYRO Prompt does not request or handle contacts, location, health data, biometric data, card numbers or any sensitive data category. The app does not recognize faces or analyze the content of your videos.
4.1 Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent —given when you grant operating system permissions and, for AI, when you accept the app's consent screen— and on performing the service you request. For Colombia, processing takes place with the data subject's prior, express and informed authorization under Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015.
5. Device permissions
You can change or withdraw any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. Without them, the related feature stops working and the rest of the app keeps working.
5.1 Camera
Used only while you are on the recording screen, to show the picture and record your video. On the Mac, VYRO Prompt does not use the camera.
5.2 Microphone
Used to record the sound of your videos and, if you turn on "Follow your voice", so the text moves while you speak. VYRO Prompt does not record audio outside those moments.
5.3 Speech recognition
"Follow your voice" turns what you say into words to know where you are in the script. The operating system does this:
- On iPhone and Mac, with Apple's speech recognition. When the device supports it, it is processed on the device; otherwise Apple may process the audio on its servers, under its own policy.
- On Android, with your phone's speech recognition service. The app asks for offline processing when possible; depending on the phone, the service (usually Google's) may process the audio on its servers, under its own policy.
VYRO Prompt uses the recognized words only to move the text on screen. It does not store them or send them to Superbites Studios.
5.4 Photos or gallery
Only to save the videos you record. On iPhone the "add to Photos" permission is requested, which cannot read your library. VYRO Prompt does not read your photos or videos.
5.5 Local network
Used only for Studio, and only when you turn it on:
- "Record here" opens a connection on this phone that can only be reached inside your wifi network, or by cable. It shows a six-digit code you have to type on the other device. After five wrong codes, the code changes by itself. The connection closes when you turn it off or leave the app.
- "Direct another" looks on your network for the device that is waiting.
Only the commands to record, go back to the start and change the speed travel over that connection, along with the recording status and the script's title. It does not go through the internet or Superbites Studios servers, and the video never leaves the phone that records it.
6. Write with AI
This is a VYRO Prompt Pro feature. Before the first use, the app shows a screen that says what is sent and to whom, and nothing is sent until you accept. You can withdraw that consent in Settings.
- What is sent: the topic you type, the options you choose (length, social network, tone, language) and, when you ask to redo a script, the text of that draft. Your session is also sent, so we know who is asking and can count the script (section 6.1).
- Where it goes: through a Superbites Studios server hosted on Cloudflare, which forwards the request to the AI provider and returns the script to you. That server does not keep your text.
- Who writes it: OpenAI, with its GPT-5 mini model (writes the script) and GPT-5 nano (checks that it doesn't claim things you didn't write). We use its business service (API), where OpenAI does not use what you send to train its models. If we change providers, the consent screen will say so before anything is sent again.
- What is not sent: your other scripts, your videos, your name or any other data from your device.
Don't type personal data about yourself or others into the topic that you don't want to share with the provider. The script you receive is a draft: review it before using it.
6.1 Signing in and counting scripts
Pro includes 20 AI scripts a month, and you can buy credits to write more. To count them across your devices, "Write with AI" asks you to sign in with Apple or Google.
- What our server receives: the signed proof Apple or Google issue when you sign in. The server checks the signature and keeps only an identifier derived from your account, which does not reveal which account it is. It does not keep your email, your name or the proof.
- What it keeps with that identifier: how many of the month's scripts you used, how many retouches each script has had (without its text) and the time of each script, to stop abuse. Script records are deleted after 40 days and monthly counters after three months.
- Credits and subscription: the same identifier is used at RevenueCat, which keeps your credit balance and purchases.
- Deleting the account: Settings › Delete account erases your counters and balance on our server and at RevenueCat, and if you signed in with Apple, revokes VYRO Prompt's access to your Apple account. Unused credits are lost. Your subscription is not cancelled on its own: cancel it in the store.
7. Third parties involved
Apple Inc. — App Store and payments on iPhone and Mac; speech recognition on iPhone and Mac when it is not processed on the device; Photos. Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
Google LLC — Google Play and payments on Android; speech recognition service on many Android phones. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat, Inc. — Subscription validation, as a data processor. Receives the identifier derived from your account (section 6.1) or, if you haven't signed in, an anonymous installation identifier; the product purchased, your credit balance, purchase and renewal dates, store country, device model, system version and the request's IP address. It does not receive your scripts, videos, name or email. Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Cloudflare, Inc. — Hosts the "Write with AI" server. Handles the request in transit and the connection's IP address. Policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
OpenAI, L.L.C. — AI provider, only if you use "Write with AI". Receives what section 6 describes, without your identity. Policy: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
There is no other provider, ad network, analytics tool, crash reporting service or attribution service built into the app. Fonts are bundled with the app, so your IP address doesn't reach a font server either.
If you write to us from Settings → Help us improve, your email app opens with the app and system version already filled in; you decide whether to send it.
8. Subscriptions and payments
VYRO Prompt offers VYRO Prompt Pro as a monthly or annual subscription. Pro includes 20 AI scripts a month, having the text follow your voice, and notch mode on the Mac. Credit packs can also be bought to write more AI scripts. Purchases are processed exclusively through the App Store or Google Play. Superbites Studios S.A.S. never sees, receives or stores your card or payment details.

9. Backups
Your scripts and preferences may be included in your device backup (iCloud on iPhone and Mac; Google backup on Android), depending on how you have it set up. Apple and Google manage those backups with your account. Your videos follow your gallery's backup rules.
10. What VYRO Prompt doesn't do
- It doesn't upload your scripts or videos to Superbites Studios servers.
- It doesn't use the camera or microphone outside recording and "Follow your voice".
- It doesn't send anything to AI without your prior acceptance.
- It doesn't open connections with other devices unless you turn on Studio.
- It doesn't show ads or sell or rent data.
- It doesn't use advertising identifiers or track your activity in other apps or websites.
11. Children
VYRO Prompt is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. In Colombia, under article 7 of Law 1581 of 2012, processing data of children and adolescents is only allowed when it respects their best interests and requires the authorization of their legal representative.
12. Retention and deletion
12.1 Data on your device
It is kept while the app is installed. You can delete it at any time:
- Your scripts: from each script's menu → Delete.
- Your videos: from your device's gallery, like any other video.
- Everything else: by uninstalling the app, which deletes everything VYRO Prompt stored in its private storage.
12.2 "Write with AI" data
Our server does not keep your text. The counters in section 6.1 are kept as described there, or until you delete your account. The AI provider may keep requests for a limited time under its own policy, for example to prevent abuse.
12.3 Subscription data
Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase history under their own legal and accounting obligations. Deleting your account in the app asks RevenueCat to erase your record. If you never signed in and want your installation's record erased, write to us and we will request it.
13. Security
- Data is stored in the app's private container, protected by app sandboxing and by the operating system's encryption, which is active when the device has a passcode or biometrics.
- All communication with the AI server and RevenueCat is encrypted with TLS. The app does not use the AI server if its address is not secure (https).
- Studio requires a randomly generated six-digit code, changes it after five failed attempts, accepts one device at a time and turns off when the app goes to the background.
If you find a vulnerability, report it to apps@superbitesstudios.com. If an incident affects personal data under our responsibility, we will notify data subjects and the competent authorities, including Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, within the legally required time frames.
14. International transfers
The data described in sections 6 and 7 is handled by providers based outside Colombia, mainly in the United States, based on your authorization and on contracts with each provider that include equivalent safeguards. Data that stays on your device is not transferred.
15. Your rights
15.1 Colombia — Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data)
As a data subject you have the right to know, update and correct your data; request proof of the authorization given; be informed about how your data has been used; file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce; revoke the authorization and request deletion of your data when no legal or contractual duty prevents it; and access it free of charge.
Procedure. Send your request to apps@superbitesstudios.com with your name, a way to contact you and a description of your request. Questions are answered within ten (10) business days, extendable by five (5). Complaints are answered within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by eight (8). If the request is incomplete, we'll tell you within five (5) business days.
The supervisory authority is the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (sic.gov.co).
15.2 European Economic Area, Switzerland and United Kingdom — GDPR
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise them by writing to the contact email and complain to your country's supervisory authority. Since your scripts and videos don't reach our servers, we can't locate or hand them over: they only live on your device.
15.3 California and other U.S. states
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You can exercise the rights to know, delete, correct and non-discrimination by writing to the contact email.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this document to reflect changes in the app or in the law. The current version will always be published at this address with its update date. If a change is substantial —in particular, if it adds a new data recipient— we will announce it in the app before it takes effect.

18. Annex — Mapping to the stores' privacy labels
For Apple and Google, data is "collected" only when it leaves the device. What is processed on the device and never transmitted is not declared.
